NEW! SOLO SHOW AT THE PREACHER GALLERY

We are so pleased to invite you to the Future, Finally (has arrived), a stunning solo show from the amazing Alexandra Valenti, next Saturday, Feb. 26th from 6-9pm.

Idolatry, humorist allegory, exploding color fields, and “figurative abstraction” make up the latest body of work by Valenti. Created at the start of lockdown, Valenti unwittingly created a timeline of “portraits” of imaginary feminine deities which morphed into present-day scenarios of freedom, solitude, and unabashed optimism.

Join us next Saturday for some cocktails, delicious bites, and plenty of soulful vibes.

Alexandra Valenti is an artist based in Austin, Texas. A photographer for many years, Valenti has pivoted to large-scale painting (almost) full time. Her influences are vast, from stone idols, surrealism, Lee Krasner, Henri Rousseau, and John Lennon. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Valenti has lived in New York, Los Angeles, Melbourne, and for the past 17 years,

she has called Austin home.
